We did so many fun things. We went and visited some of the Polish members that they taught when they were there. This is a picture of the Januszewskis, Brennan, Steve and Morgan. This is one of the Solid Polish families in Chicago.
This is the Skinders, and Jerry. Again, more solid Polish members.
This is Brennan's old apartment. The only apartment he lived in. That is what is so special about the old Chicago Polish Mission.
As you can see it was classic Chicago weather while we were there. Rain, wind and just darn right cold. I didn't pack like I should have.
We were only in Chicago for 3 days. But we did a lot of fun stuff. We had lunch on top of the Hancock building, went to the Cubs game(Steve caught a foul ball with his bear hand. He still thinks he's the man. Don't ya Steve!), ate Giradonos(sp?), went to the Polish area, shopped, and just enjoyed the company. It was so much fun to be with the Morgans and the Nabrotzkys. Thank you for the wonderful time! Next trip, Tennessee. Here we come. Oh and by the way, we bought a house.

What, you bought a house?!! I really need to call you, how exciting.
How fun that you guys got to go to Chicago, looks like you had a blast. We loved going there this summer it is an awesome place!
I know we keep saying this, but seriously, we need to get together! I ran into Julie Lee a few weeks ago. We talked about how we all need to get together! Congrats on buying a house, you need to share info!
That is so cool! I am really jealous and hope to make it there someday myself. I really wish we could have come. I didn't know you were moving to Tennessee! How fun that you got to buy a house too. You'll have to keep the blog updated so we can all see fun pictures of it. Good luck!
Just wanted you to know that I look at your blog all the time and think your family is just fabulous. This post reminded me of WAY back when we used to call Brennan "Sven" in high school (when I tagged along with all the seniors...). Good memories.
Congrats on the house-buying!
What a fun trip! I think it would be a lot of fun to visit Darin's mission and have him show me around!
Congrats on the house, Cat! I can't wait to see it.
Looks like your trip was a blast. I really want to go check out Alan's mission but that is West Africa. Mmmm, maybe not! ;) Glad you had a great time!
That was a great time. Dobrze sie bawilismy. The most amazing part of the trip was definitely the foul ball catch. What an amazing athlete Steve is!
Sincerely,
The 35,000 people that cheered for Steve when he caught a foul ball BARE HANDED!!!
Congrats Cat, on your new home! So exciting! We need to catch up!
Love, Marg
